Recently, The Centre for Faith, Ethics & Society at the University of Notre Dame, Australia hosted prominent legal scholar and Catholic moral philosopher John Finnis to speak at its Fremantle Campus. His lecture, entitled Opposing “Death With Dignity” and “Same Sex Marriage”: Faith or Reason. The lecture, which was advertised as a public event, was interrupted by protestors who disagreed with Professor Finnis’ stance on the issue of Same Sex Marriage.
